My name is Orion Evans and I am 14 years old and in the 8th grade. When I was very young I started going to high school football games and loved the watch the physical contact and see the teams work together. I really liked the energy of the crowd when there was a big play. I started playing football in the second grade. By playing football, I have learned more about teamwork and what dedication means. I also have learned how important respect is. My goal in high school is to have a 4.0 gpa so I have more options for college.
My biggest influence in life is God, then my mom and step dad and a previous football coach. When I was a baby the doctor told my mom I may not make it through the night because I was so sick. Later the doctors told her I have kernicterus a rare brain damage and that I may not be able to run or even walk. I have been a fighter I guess because I proved them wrong! I am the starting tailback on offense and starting OLB on defense. I have also played kicker. I am a three sport athlete who is determined to be the best student and athlete I can be.
