My collegiate goals and aspirations are to gain a degree in astrophysics. I want to learn and develop my love for space and the study of the creation of planets and solar systems to help us better understand ways to improve our existence and way of life.
I possess the three most valued qualities in a teammate:
- I am teachable. I take constructive criticism and constantly strive to get better and work to fully understand my position and how other positions affect me.
- I demonstrate leadership both on the field and off. I strive to help team mates be the best they can be and work to make the entire team better. This includes fitness, film, classroom and external distractions that may impact our team.
- Commitment is a value that cannot be taught. This comes from a deep love for the game. I worked two jobs during the summer and still did not miss any workouts or event that was connected to the football team. I even coached flag football on Saturdays for K-3 students.
The one simple thing that separates me from others in athletics and academics is my maturity level. I fully grasp what my goals and plans are going to be and I do not want an immature decision or action to affect the path I am on.
