Collegiate Goals and Aspirations
I would like to get a bachelor’s degree in Business or Kinesiology and then a master’s degree in Business Administration or Chiropractic Medicine, Coaching, or Physical Therapy.
My goal is to play football at the highest collegiate level, allowing me to play against the best competition. I will be an inspiration and leader for my teammates and coaches, to sustain or take the program to a championship level.
What makes you a good candidate for their team?
My leadership skills, experience, strong arm, and field vision are some of my specific strengths. I have an attitude to win at everything I do and to always focus on improving.
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics?
Character - I have been a member of the Holt High School Leadership Academy since my freshman year. In this organization, we improve our leadership skills through a series of leadership trainings and workshops. We also raise funds and volunteer for organizations such as the Holt Food Bank and Holt Scholarship Fund. I also serve as a LINKS mentor helping special needs students to improve their skills with socialization, independence, and behavior.
Athletics - My philosophy is knowing that every workout and practice is a chance to make myself and my teammates quicker, stronger and smarter for the next game. I know what it takes to be a successful college athlete because my sister got a full athletic scholarship to Western Michigan University to play basketball and was a four-year starter and three-year captain. My Dad, who has coached me my whole life, earned a full athletic scholarship to Central Michigan University for football. He was a four-year letterman and captain. Throughout my life I have trained to be a quarterback, always working hard in the offseason, and working to improve through weight training, listening to my coaches, and attending football camps and combines. My grit and determination is demonstrated as I played in the last two games of my Junior season with a misdiagnosed broken fibula. I was able to help lead my team to a Conference Championship and earn All-Conference Second Team honors. I have also been on my Class A Varsity Basketball team since my sophomore year. I’m prepared and ready to play at the next level.
Academics - I maintain a 3.2 GPA and am working hard to improve this for the remainder of my Senior year.
