Jacob "Buck" West '14 Recruiting Profile

My main goal is to get to heaven. While I'm here on earth I want to serve God by feeding the hungry, giving water to the thirsty, give clothing to those that have none, help the homeless, visit the sick and those in prison. Through playing college football, I will get more opportunity to do these things. I also enjoy playing football and love the time spent with my teammates and coaches. My goal is to play for a college football program that will allow me to visit the sick kids at the hospital and work with orphans. I would also like to visit a local jail and read the bible with inmates. My other goal in playing college football is to get a degree in the medical field. I would like to go as far as I can in playing football but realize that whatever God's will is for my life: I ACCEPT!!! Life in this imperfect world lasts around 80 years and I want to make sure I get to be part of the afterlife that lasts for eternity and is PERFECT! I also made 2nd Team All SE Michigan. Our team is Divsion 2 but plays in a league with all Division 1 schools. Our goal is to beat the bigger schools and make playoffs despite a tough schedule.
