Jacob Geter '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Geter and I am a 16 year old Sophomore running back. I am 5'7 1/2, 160lbs.  I am very driven and hard working and will never let someone else out work me. I am a leader on and off the field. Have a 3.85 gpa. My dream is to play football in collage. I am open to many different colleges in many locations. I would like to play D1 but am open to D2 and 3 schools as well. I am planning on majoring in kinesiology.

In retrospect, I have always loved the sport of football. When I was younger, I constantly dreamed of playing football at the college level, making big plays on t.v and possibly winning a national championship. During my freshman year, I lead my freshman team in touchdowns and rushing yards. I helped us achieve a record of 8-1, and win conference.  My sophmore year i had 32 touchdowns and 1800+ yards and lead the team to an undefeated record of 9-0.

Overall, I believe that I have the drive, effort, leadership, and the intangibles on the football field of what most coaches look for. My academics are at a very high level, and will continue to be as long as I keep my focus. I have a burning desire play at the highest level of competition and plan to make a huge impact. So with my great work ethic and a motor that will never stop, I plan to work harder and harder until I reach that level. Thank you and best regards, Jacob Geter.
