When I think about my future goals for college I see myself continuing my football journey as a player that is ever evolving and always looking to make myself a better athlete, teammate and competitor. My education is important and will remain a priority as it is now. I know that academics is what college is for and that collegiate sports is an additional bonus that I hope and strive for as I train now to better myself. I have grown up in a suburb that is diverse with a decent size population where many athletes compete to play sports such as football. I have been a multi-sport athlete since I was a young boy and have been coached that being a leader and supportive teammate is a core part of playing any sport. I have played the Quarterback position for the last 7 years and look forward to each new season as a way to positively lead my team on and off the field. I believe that I have defining characteristics that set me apart in a good way. I strive to make good decisions in my everyday life, work hard on my school work, uplift others that are struggling, actively participate in team building activities and events, and know that leadership comes in all shapes and forms. Being with a sports team for me is important as I get to be apart of something that is bigger than the actual sport we are all playing together. I am a coach-able athlete that is always looking for constructive criticism to perfect my craft. I know that physical hard work and training is a part of making myself better before, during and after the season. I love to see when I make improvements and am actively looking for more opportunities to better myself as an athlete and teammate.
