Personal Statement

My strongest traits are my drive and need for constructive criticism to improve. What I want out of college lacrosse is to experience and compete at the next level. I am a 6’5” 200 lbs Midfielder that has experience all around the field; I started playing when I was 9 and this will be my 9th year of lacrosse. In 8th-grade, I tried out and made Champlin Park’s Jr. Varsity team and the following year made Varsity. I lettered my 9th-grade year in Varsity and was given the Unsung Hero award. This year, I was voted in as a 2-year Team Captain, made All-Conference, Section 2nd Team, and was awarded HS team Offensive and Team MVP. This past year, I made the MAC H.S. Selects, voted as Captain at MAC, and the Minnesota Stars HS Elite Box Lacrosse team. At MAC I became the stat leader and top scorer. With the MN Stars, we earned #6 at Nationals. This year I was invited and made the MN True AAA field team.

Training

  • Strength Training
  • 4 years
  • Joined my 8th-grade year to work out within the high school weight room. Here we went through an organized schedule of body workouts with the use of weights to try to develop a better physique and become stronger. Lettered in Champlin Park’s Strength Training Club 2 years.
  • Football Strength Training Summer
  • 3 years
  • During the summer, the football program had players go through strength and conditioning programs with coaches, development coaches, and alumni. The schedule started after the season ended and all the way up to the season starting (6 days a week in the mornings.) Strength included being in the weight room with plans that worked on individual parts of the body. After conditioning would consist of aerobic and anaerobic exercises that worked on our endurance.
