Football has always been a big part of my life. I put on a helmet and pads to play tackle football for the first time at seven years old. I have always been blessed with size and strength. As a result, I have become a multi-faceted player, versatile and adaptable, playing wherever the coach needs; defensive line, tight end, receiver, running back and quarterback.
The highlight of my football career thus far has been earning a starting position, as a sophomore, on both offense and defense as as Tight End and Defensive Tackle. I averaged nearly 30 yards per catch with a total of 646 total yards. I'm looking to build off last season and continue to improve. The competition and challenges within the game of football is why I love playing. I use the critiques coaches give me as fuel to better myself and exceed their expectations. I have set a goal for myself to be a varsity starter by the end of my freshman year. While this will be a challenge, I am up for it. I believe my hard work ethic and coach-ability will help me reach my goal.
