As a student-Athlete, the team-first mentality is the most important thing. Being part of a team is like no other feeling. One unit that coincides with each other smoothly can reach big things. It can be a large joy that you’ll never forget. As my goals towards college athletic, I am looking for a team that will accept me into their culture. I am willing to give everything to show why they brought me there. That’s what separates me from other recruits, I truly am willing to bring my work ethic at all times and add to the culture.
As a student, I am part of the higher tier. I have been in many Honor classes throughout high school and currently take college classes through my high school and PSEO. I am a top percentile student that cares to study and put time into my school work because unlike other athletes, I know that the game can be taken away from you through injuries, etc. , but the knowledge and degree you earn stick with you. It is vital to put your education first because that will take you farther in life.
As a son, I am raised by my two parents, Addie and Darren King, and have one sister, Sophie King. We live on an anchorage outside of Brewster Minnesota. My parents are very hardworking people with tremendous work ethics and do the most livingly possible for my sister and me. I am blessed to say I have an amazing family with a great foundation! They have been there right next to me through every stride of life and I couldn't do anything without them. God truly blessed me with the best and I could not be more thankful!
As a person, I enjoy many things outside of sports. I have many friends with which I spend ample time with. Our friend group is very competitive and some of the main activities we do are go to the gym, workout, play basketball, etc. We spend quite a bit of time as well doing other hobbies like movies, bonfires, golf cart rides, swimming, and TikTok. As for myself, I really enjoy our yearly trips to Michigan to see our family. We go boating, Swim, go to Michigan State sports camps, eat new food, and make new memories. Time spent around family and friends is what I enjoy most and don't take for granted.
College is something very important to me in which I want to accomplish in life. My father never finished college and my mom is going back to college now. My family members of the past, such as my grandparents, have all had very successful educational ventures like being valedictorian and getting endless scholarships. I would love to one-up them in my own way, doesn't matter if it is on the field, or the classroom, I want to find my own success in life and accomplish and surpass and be proud of the goals I set for myself.
