I started practicing in sports when I was just four years old, starting out in youth wrestling and T-ball. As I grew older, my love for sports grew as well. As a seventh grader, I became a starter on the varsity wrestling team. I began playing football in the seventh grade and played several positions through my Freshman year. As a Sophomore, I was a varsity starting running back and starting linebacker. This year, as a Junior, I was asked to be the starting quarterback and I have also continued as a starting linebacker. Throughout the years, I have honed my skills through countless hours of practice, weight training, and studying game film. I have learned invaluable lessons and the importance of perseverance, resilience, and teamwork. These qualities have not only made me a better player, but also a better person. I take pride in being one of the leaders on my team, always striving to motivate and support my teammates to achieve our common goals. My dedication has paid off, as I have been recognized with the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year and All District Player. I have received wrestling awards, some include: All Conference, Hardest Worker, and Morrison County Record All-Area Team. I have been presented with the Spotlight on Scholarship Award, GPA 3.0 or higher, for both football and wrestling.
Academically, I am equally committed. I understand the importance of balancing my athletics with my education, and I have maintained a strong GPA. I am excited about the opportunity to continue my education at the collegiate level, where I can further develop both my academic and athletic abilities.
