As long as I can remember, I have wanted to play football. Both my grandfathers played college football. One played for the legendary Johnny Vaught. At an early age I began playing flag football at school. I continued with junior high and high school football. I tried basketball and baseball for a few years, but football was always my first love.
Through the years academics have been important to me as well. All through junior high and high school I have maintained an A average while taking all honors classes. I have learned to balance both sports and academic work, which is a necessary skill for college.
Since I have had several different coaches in my school career, I feel I have learned to adapt to new techniques and people as needed. Flexibility is one of my strengths on and off the field. You will not find a player as dedicated and passionate as I am.
I am looking forward to continuing these things at the college level.
