Jase Thurlo '22 Recruiting Profile

I've grown up being around and playing football it's always been my passion.  College has also always been on my mind and what I've wanted to do.  If you would ask my peers, teachers, and coaches about me, they would tell you that I'm a natural leader, and am a hard worker inside the classroom and on the field. I’m a very versatile player, I started high school playing WR, and DB. I was then moved from DB to DE and I’ve shown many strengths there. My senior year I was moved from TE to OL and I have played Center and both Tackle positions. The reason for the position change was the team needed someone else on the line and coaches knew I could handle it, even with no prior experience on the line.  I have since been moved back to TE, and in my opinion I'm playing my best at this position.  My team has a very run-heavy offense, so with any opportunity I get with the ball I make it the most.  All through my career I feel like I have not been given the chance to show what I can really do and I'm hoping playing in college could change that.   I am easily coached and will play any position I'm put in and work to be the best at it.
