As a young boy, I developed a love for all sports. Anything that contained a ball and competition, I was there. This drove me to always strive for being the best I can be. Watching my older brother play football and then listening to him and my dad breakdown film, I was hooked. I had played several years in competitive baseball, but there was something about football. Football became my passion. The harmony of a team, the backing of your teammates, all leading to one goal. Winning.
My Freshman year was hard. I stood on the sideline, didn't see much Varsity playing time nor did I start JV. I used those feelings and pushed myself the entire next year, training, watching film and sharpening my skills. I was determined not to be on that sideline, I wanted in. My Sophomore year I earned the starting Varsity Quarterback position! Little did I know, earning this position brought on even more dedication and devotion. This also pulled out my leadership skills I didn't even know existed.
Excited to see what my Junior year has instore for me. I know what I want and what my team wants, we want another shot at the State Semi-finals.
