Nicholas Evans '18 Recruiting Profile

     Since a young age my parents have stressed the importance of hard work, ethics, and moral values. It has carried over throughout school and sports.

    I have maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher and have always been within top 10 in my class. I am a captain for my varsity football and wrestling teams. Whether in the classroom or on the field I always look to put in the work or extra effort to make any improvements. I will continue with the same drive and determination as I look to play football in college, and pursue a degree in Exercise Science

    I have played and been passionate about football since I was eight years old. My dad coached me throughout bantam football and always emphasized attention to details. I've learned to push myself physically and developed mental toughness throughout. I am comfortable as a team leader or just being there for my teammates. I know the importance of teamwork as well as individual accountability.

    The amount of time spent participating in sports will come and go quickly. It is the principles that I will keep with me forever. As my friends in the Special Olympics say, "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."
