I have been playing the sport of football since the age of six. I always have loved the game of football but not just because of the fun you have playing it, but because of the life lessons the game teaches you. Football will teach you it’s not just about you, it is about the TEAM and how you will have to gut through things at times. It also teaches you valuable lessons from both winning and losing.
I am a leader who is always trying to make my teammates better. I am very coachable and also try to get better each day. I try to be a well-rounded athlete not just on the football field but, in the classroom.
I also enjoy giving back to my community. For the past two summers, I have volunteered and assisted staff at a youth summer camp at our local recreation center. I also enjoy helping with our youth football camps and helping teach the younger kids the fundamentals of football.
As I start my high school career, I plan to expand on my leadership skills by joining and actively participating in student council. I believe we achieve by helping others.
I have high aspirations to go to a college that is a great fit for me academically, as well as on the football field. I would like to achieve a degree in Sports Medicine and hope to become a role model to my friends and family.
