Talent believes it deserves a day off. It's not committed hitting the gym during free time nor does it dedicate itself to homework after a long day of school, practice or games. On the other hand, hard work understands the commitment that's required to be the best. It sets goals and determines the path that will allow them attain those goals. Hard work doesn't mind being the last person in the gym and it will beat talent in any head to head matchup.
I have some God given talent but my hard work and dedication is what sets me apart. I am a student of the game who is motivated by a challenge. I believe it's an honor to be given the opportunity to represent your school in any athletic event and it's my responsibility to display integrity and good sportsmanship. I love sports and look forward to playing at a collegiate level.
