Football has been a passion for me since I started playing. I have had the opportunity to play both offense and defense and have had numerous games when I hardly saw the sidelines because I never came out. I have learned how to cope with the pressure of the situation and overcome obstacles when the player across the line from me was attempting to intimidate. I have learned how to communicate and multitask as a Center.
As I grow in my skills, I have become more confident in my ability to become a strong team player on any team. I have had the occasion to rise to the role of a motivator when a player missed the tackle and peacemaker when strong personalities took over on the field. Those skills among others that football teaches, will be beneficial for the path my future holds for me.
