I am Landon Boston, a class of 2024 student-athlete at Washington High School (Washington, Mo). I play Running Back along with some slot on offense and Sam Linebacker on defense. College has always been an expectation of me from my family, teachers, etc., especially by my Grandma and Mom because of my early success in school. I have always strived to be the best in the classroom but when I came across football that was amplified even more so. From there the goal was clear... excel on the gridiron and in the classroom to continue the dream and receive an education that I will always have. As a player, I take pride in the passion I play with and the energy I bring to the field. To add on to that, being able to not only succeed on both sides of the ball but, to be a leader on each as well. Another key part of my game is my versatility and ability to adapt and play other positions in order to win. One of my favorite parts about football is how the hard work really does pay off. I like the physical and mental challenge of putting the work in and trusting that it will pay off in the long run. If I had to pick one word to describe myself, it would be "competitor", because I do everything I can to win and I bring it.
