It has been a goal of mine to become a collegiate athlete from a young age. I believe I am a good fit for any school because of my leadership qualities on and off the field. In the classroom I expect excellence from myself and I do the same on the football field. I carry my expectation of excellence in all three sports I compete in: football, basketball, and track. For example, as a sophomore quarterback of a senior loaded team, it was important that I gain everyone's respect by being a good leader in the huddle and in the locker room. Leadership is also vital during basketball season, where a key part of being the point guard is making sure the other four guys know what play we are running, or how we are defending.
I believe my quick learning ability and fundamental coaching is what sets me apart from other quarterbacks, such as paying attention to details. I am looking to compete for a program that values academics just as highly as athletics. I believe I have the work ethic and skill set to be a collegiate student-athlete and I am willing to do what it takes to get there.
