From the minute I could walk I was kicking a soccer ball around at my sister’s soccer games. I played organized soccer until I was introduced to youth football in the 4th grade when I instantly fell in love with the sport. I have always been one of the bigger kids on the team so I played on both the offensive and defensive line. In the 8th grade I played as an offensive and defensive starter for the A team and was named to the all-star team where I also started on both sides of the ball.
My freshmen year I was named captain of our freshmen high school football team and was the starting offensive and defensive tackle. My sophomore year I made the varsity team, started in a couple of the games, continued to play on both the offensive and defensive line and lettered. I have been able to do all this and maintain a 3.4 GPA.
I pride myself on being a versatile player and a hard worker. I am driven to do whatever I can to help my team succeed. Not only do I play both sides of the football, I can also play on both the right side and the left side. At the age of 13 I started working with a personal trainer for strength and conditioning. At age 14 I started working both individually and in small groups with a skilled line coach.
In addition to playing football at the next level, I would like to study to be a physical therapist or a personal trainer.
I am driven to help my team become successful. I look forward to talking to you personally and to show you what I can contribute to your team.
