Vincent Carlton '22 Recruiting Profile

I am different from other athletes for 3 main reasons: leadership, academics, and love for this game. The first thing any of my coaches will tell you about me is my ability to lead the team. As a 4 year captain, I am able to talk to my teammates on a level they understand and help motivate them by leading by example and helping them with whatever they need. If my coach needs something done then I am the first one he will come to. Another way I push myself is in academics. I have maintained a 4.3 GPA and scored a 29 on the ACT. I help my teammates stay academically eligible by tutoring and teaching them concepts they do not understand. The last thing about me that you must know is that I LOVE this game. I had a year of football stolen from me because of covid and I pushed myself to be better for my senior year. Ever since I have stepped on that field again, I have made the most of every second. Every play is full speed, every practice is 110% effort, every minute I'm on that field is a blessing.
