My name is Alex Batchelder, 5’9”, 180 lbs, Class of 2025. My career in football started in third grade. My first memory was my face covered in tears and dirt, body in pain, out of breath and wanting to quit. I promised my parents I would stick it out for a season. I am proud of that decision and have never looked back. I am now the starting JV Center and back up for Varsity. I started playing center in 5th grade after the suggestion from Coach McDonald. Center is now my passion and I look forward to playing and growing throughout High School and beyond.
Academics is more important than football, but both go hand in hand in getting better everyday. I am always trying to better myself whether in the classroom, on the field, or in the weight room. I work hard in school which shows in my freshman year 3.9 GPA. I consider myself a leader on and off the field. I am coachable, responsible, and a student of the game always looking for ways to improve. I see myself continuing my education past high school, and playing football at a college level.
