From freshman year I didn’t take academics seriously, some may say I was distracted for one because it was the first year of high school and also adding onto that, dealing with the passing of my father. I always thought those are excuses and that I put my self in a position where I had to play catch up. This year, my junior year, I plan to be ahead of the 8 ball. My grades have to be nothing lower than B’s, and I am committed to this. Football can’t go anywhere with out academics and I am pushing as hard as I can and more to be where I must be. I feel like I’m different than all candidates because I am a dog. On and off the field. I have a very competitive mindset that will never go away fortunately. I never needed a motivation after a certain point. Once I want something I go get it. And on the field, there’s nothing that can explain my intentions and my intensity. I am an entire different kind of dog on the field. I don’t play football, I live football. My coaches have told me I like to be a perfectionist a lot. Which is true but i think that’s why I am very coachable. I want to exactly what they want me to do, and exactly how.
