Hello, my name is Leila Hudson. I’m an athlete but I am also musician, artist and a honors student.
About 3 years ago I went to the island of Trinidad to visit my grandparents. While there I practiced with a club team 2 out of the 3 months I was there. Sadly I left the day before our first game but while being there I fell in love with volleyball. I was 12 at the time and my middle school did not have a volleyball team but the high school did. Last year, while I was a freshman I played junior varsity for my high school team but we weren’t the greatest. This year, I went from just jv to play both jv and varsity. This year I feel like I’ve grown so much with volleyball and my academics.
My goal for high school is to be in Ap classes and get straight A’s. In college I want to play volleyball and be a Graphic Design major. I would also like to work during my time going to school. After 4 years in college, I would like to go to a graphic design school and then get a job in company for graph design.
As you know I play volleyball but I also play lacrosse. I have played last season and plan on playing the upcoming season. I also play the violin. I have been playing for 6 years. I also play the ukulele, acoustic and electric guitar, and the electric bass which were all self taught.
Thank you for reading and I hope you can choose me to represent your team and school.
