Hi Coach. My name is Jeremiah Cook. I am a 2025 RB/LB at Belleville (NJ) High School. I am among the state's leading rushers in 2022. In thinking about my life, I feel that my belief in God and the teachings from my parents to strive for the best have helped to shape and form the person I am today. But the thing that has taught me the most in life is sports. I first began playing flag football. During that time, I first learned to strive to be the best. I stood out because I had a drive and determination to break through the opposing team's defensive line and score for my team. Throughout the years, I moved on to play tackle football in middle and high school. Each year, I learn more about things that will help me become not only a better athlete but also a better student and person in life.
Sports have taught me discipline, the importance of working hard, and never giving up. I have also learned how to work with others and encourage others. I have learned to be strong in the face of defeat and not let losses define who I am.
Beyond the field, I have actively participated in community initiatives, where I have gained leadership qualities that extend far beyond the realm of sports. Encouraging others to join me in these initiatives, I have sought to make a positive impact on the community that goes hand in hand with the principles instilled in me through my athletic journey. I have also learned how to win and be humble
I am eager to bring these lessons, values, and leadership qualities to your program, contributing my skills and dedication to the team's success. I look forward to discussing how I can be a valuable asset to your football program.
