Hello Coaches,
My name is Aidan Lynch of Mount Olive High School and I am part of the class of 2024. On and off the field, I strive to be a leader and I learn from others how to be the leader I want to be. On my team, we each stand by a quote that was provided by our Coach. Last year with Covid, the quote was, “Tough times don’t last but tough people do”. I believe that in order to be that “tough” person, you need to have strong character, you need to lead by example, and you need to be resilient. I personally strive to be that tough person. I pick my team up when we fall and I bring a presence to the field like no other. I stand out from others in the way that I don’t need to talk and scream to prove my point, I use my actions to portray what I need to because leaders lead by example. In college, I not only want to be an athlete, I want to be a successful student. I want to obtain a degree in whatever major I decide on and I want to bring my character to the classroom and someday my career. Lastly, for me, being a part of something bigger like a football family is something I need. That something bigger in life than just myself has helped me multiple times in life and it has taught me so many lessons that in my opinion are needed to be the best person I can be.
