Jake THOMAS '25 Recruiting Profile

I was introduced to football at a young age and started playing in my Freshman year of high school.  Since my first day of practice, I have strived for excellence by regularly setting personal goals and raising the standard each game and every year.  I am a leader on and off the field, but I'm also coachable and a quick learner. To me, football is not just a game, it is a lifestyle.  I train hard to get stronger, I study film and do technique training during the off-season.  I love the game.

I have the same mindset when it comes to my academic success as well.  My goal every semester is to excel in the classroom and reach my academic goals, which start with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, in my opinion.  My weighted GPA is 3.6 because I chose to push myself beyond mediocrity and enrolled in Accelerated courses, which I will enroll in next semester.

I want to attend a college with a football program that fits my academic and football values, is challenging yet supportive, and can equip me with the skills on and off the field needed to reach my life goals.  I'm excited about the next phase.
