My name is Elias Diamantakos – I am a 6’0, 205 lb.4 Star Varsity Kicker at Moorestown High School in Moorestown, NJ. Three years ago, the global pandemic hit and although I struggled with many aspects of this tragedy, I found my passion in kicking. Having played soccer and lacrosse, I have always been a hardworking and successful athlete. Without much to do during the pandemic, I grabbed a football and found that I had both power and accuracy when kicking – practicing kicking was something that I could easily do in insolation!
When school reopened, I tried out for the football team and was immediately promoted to the Varsity team. To this day, I am the first one on the field and the last one off. I am truly dedicated to this sport. My most recent accomplishment during this past football season, was kicking the “winning” field goal in a rival football game. I have been recognized as one of the top kickers in New Jersey after the first full week of this year’s season. I consistently kick an average distance of 45 yards and have achieved a personal best of 58 yards. My dream is to play football in college, and I am devoted to working as hard and doing whatever I need to make my dream a reality.
With so many options for colleges available, I remain open to anywhere (Mid-Atlantic, South, West, Midwest, Southwest, and Northwest). I am flexible as to the size, although I prefer a mid-size to largecollege. I am committed to pursuing an education that is both challenging and well-rounded. I currently work and intern in my family’s catering and restaurant business which is why I hope to major in Hospitality Management and Business. I look forward to participating in a college community with regards to academics, social life, and athletics.
I promise to bring my unfailing work ethic to any college team I play for whether as a freshman or as a senior. I pledge to foster teamwork, hard work and dedication inside and outside of the locker room with my fellow teammates. I love playing the game and look forward to excelling at the collegiate level.
