My name is Jack Baker and I am a member of the Class of 2019 at Mountain Lakes High School in New Jersey. I have great parents who are very supportive of all I do, and a older brother who is a role model for me. My favorite sport is football even though I play varsity basketball and lacrosse as well. After high school I plan on going to the most challenging and demanding college/university that I can get accepted to, and pursue degree/degrees in Engineering and or Business.
I am preparing to play football at whichever college/university will want a skilled quarterback who can not only play the position, but can also lead, motivate and win. These traits are groomed into all of us who play for the Mountain Lakes "Herd".... one of the winningest high school programs in all of New Jersey.
My pursuit of excellence is demonstrated in my academics. I have taken some Honors my freshman year, and my GPA is currently at a 3.8.
I am looking for a college/university that matches my interests in academic challenges as well as a social environment that fosters a sense of school spirit.

Important topics included warning signs of relationship abuse, stepping in for a friend, and other situations that could happen to any of us. • Clothing Drive Organizer 2017 Advertised clothing collection town-wide, picked up donations and delivered them to Salvation Army in a less fortunate, neighboring town of New Jersey. • School Supply Drive Organizer 2017 Advertised the need for school supplies for single young women of Several Sources women’s shelters. Collected supplies, delivered these to my church for distribution to needy women who were returning to high school, or attending college or job training. • Conflict Resolution Peer Leader 2016 Visited elementary classrooms within the Mountain Lakes school district. Discussed issues related to potential conflicts/bullying and offered possible solutions for such situations. • High School Orientation Panelist (Chosen by high school administration) 2016, 2017, 2018 Led discussions during Freshman orientation at Mountain Lakes High School. Answered questions, offered advice, helped make new students to our school feel welcome and comfortable.
