2016-2017 Soccer ...Personal Statement
I began kicking a soccer ball about the time I started to walk. As I have grown and matured, so have my soccer skills expanded and refined. I have played in recreational, travel, National Premier League, and international tournaments. I cannot imagine myself in college not playing soccer.
Coach evaluations describe me as a great dribbler and creative to unbalance a defender. I can read a game and strike a ball with both feet which makes me unpredictable.
Academic success does not come easily to me, so I study very hard to get good grades.
I enjoy ice hockey, snowboarding, surfing, fishing, biking, singing, and traveling to new places.
I would like to attend a college where I am challenged to raise my soccer skills and pursue a career. I am loyal to my team and support my teammates on and off the field. In my studies, I am disciplined and goal oriented.
