Thomas Martello '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' linebacker from Rumson, NJ, where I have started on the Rumson Fair Haven Varsity Football team for one year. I am a Team Captain for the 2013 season. I have a 3.99 GPA and scored a 1920 on the SAT.

I am looking for a school where I can develop and excel both as a student and as an athlete. I am interested in attending an institution that has a great academic reputation as well as an outstanding business program. As a resident of the Jersey Shore, I am looking for a school within 300 miles of home. My involvement with the Sandy relief efforts has underscored the importance of leadership, commitment, and teamwork: qualities I intend to further develop, not only in college, but in life.  

It is not essential to me that I become a first year starter.  I am willing to take the time to develop and optimize my performance both in the weight room and on the field in order to have the greatest positive impact possible.
