Mason Posa '25 Recruiting Profile

I have always known I was going to be a football player. I’m naturally athletic, yet I’m a student of the sport.  I have a nose for the ball, but most importantly I have a strong  work ethic to back it all up. Engrained early in me was the understanding that I always had to show up! I must be first to practice/last to leave. Make each practice count- set the tone for my teammates. Growing up in a wrestling family I learned a lot about discipline, grinding, loyalty, and honor.  I’ve been blessed with great mentors in my life that continue to teach me these values everyday. I love leading a team, motivating my teammates and destroying my competition. I’ve been by told by my coaches that I am very coachable , a natural leader, and very dependable when they need the job done . One commentator says that my team’s defense “feeds off my nasty”!
Coaches, I want you to know I was born to play football and I can’t wait to be given the chance to do so.   I’ve blended my knowledge and success in wrestling and married those skills with my football skills. Therefore,  I’m a force to be wrecken with .  
Off the field, I love to hang with my family and friends . I love to play golf but have no plans for the PGA. I’m  a good student with a 3.75 GPA. I plan to  participate in Student  Senate as a sophomore and at this moment I’m most interested in the field of Criminal Justice- Law .  I’m very interested in FBI work.
Lastly coaches, I want you to know that I believe I will be a great asset to any program that believes in me,. I will give you my all , I’m a work horse and you can depend on me.
