When I was a kid I was a very shy and small kid. When my dad had me watch a football game on T.V. with him I wanted to play. However, being from a small low-income community the sport wasn't offered to me until my 7th grade year. Once I started football I learned my strengths and weaknesses. My strengths are as follows, I am a strong goal driven and determined person. My attitude towards my coach and teammates is always good, I was raised with manners and respect towards everyone. I am a humble person I do not gloat about my accomplishments. I always see my accomplishments as success, however I always think there is more to work on. I've learned just because I have a bad game or practice I still dig deep I don't ever give up. I also encourage my teammates to do the same, I remind them we still have a job to do no matter how the game is going. As a junior and a team captain I am always there for my teammates to encourage and help them succeed. With my type of personality I get along with everyone.
I've learned just because the season ends there is still work to do. I work hard, nothing is ever handed to me. I do the work and will continue to do my job. I know no matter what I want in life I have to work hard and I earn everything I've worked for.
