Personal Statement
Being apart of a team that needed help building its base and be reconstructed as a new program has been the highlight of my career. However, I feel that I grew the most as a student-athlete my junior year when the team had gotten a new head football coach losing our past coach my sophomore half the season. That experience had helped me focus more on myself to grow as a person and lead me to re-focus on my efforts on becoming the best strong safety and best wife receiver capable of playing at the college level.
I had became interested in the sport at a young age in 5th grade learning the basic terms of being competitive. Threw out playing the sport I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership especially in the four years of playing high school football. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically we well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a two-sport athlete in football and wrestling for varsity, I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
