Jazmine Marrufo '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to get a scholarship and be able to  play softball for a great college team. When I grow up my dream is to be a EMT or to be a physical trainer. What makes me a good candidate for your team is I am a great team player. I am a great leader if you need me to be one. I like to help people when they are struggling on what to do. What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics is in academics I really love math. I think math is my favorite subject to do in school. In athletics I like to slow down the game and just stay calm and never give up even if were losing or winning by a lot it means to never give up. In character I am just overall a great person and I like to make a lot of friends. My favorite memorable moment is being a state runner-up as a freshman in 2021 with my high school softball team and then the following year becoming a state champion when I got the last diving catch at first base to win us the game as a sophomore. It was an outstanding feeling and I'm glad I got to experience that with my team by my side.
