I will be a post-graduate, dual-athlete at Loomis, Chaffee School (Windsor, CT) in September.
My goal is to attend a college with a strong academic reputation and a highly competitive sports program where I can grow intellectually as a student and impact as an athlete. I want a chance to compete at QB, and/or play WR, return kicks, and contribute to a Division III or Ivy League program. My dream is to become a student/athlete in the spirit of a Rhodes Scholar –an idea that came to me during a summer program I attended in Oxford, England. I love the Rhodes Scholar motto of scholastic and athletic excellence with a focus on leadership, character, and commitment to the common good.
I graduated in June from Ethical Culture Fieldston School (Bronx, NY) where I always took challenging math, science, foreign language, and elective classes every semester. I am a B+/A- student with an ACT score of 29 (super-score 30).
I captained the varsity lacrosse and football teams as a two-year starting QB and a three-year lacrosse starting mid-fielder. Awards include NY Post All-City First-team, MSG Varsity All-New York City, and All-Ivy Second Team (LAX), All-Fairchester League-First Team (hockey); and First-Team Hudson Valley All-Conference (football). In addition to playing QB, during my junior year I periodically played WR, H-back, and returned kicks to help Fieldston win its fifth straight Hudson Valley League Championship and earned first-team alcolades as QB and WR.
My passion has always been football –a game I played since grade school. I am a student of the game, and loved learning over the past four years from my head coach Gus Ornstein (a former NFL QB). Because I continue to get stronger, faster, and improve every year, I know that I can repeat my past success at the Division III and Ivy League level. I am dedicated to do whatever it takes.
