Personal Statement

My name is Elijah Riley and I am a student-athlete currently attending Newfield High School. I play Cornerback and Wide Receiver for the varsity football team and will graduate in 2016. I have started on varsity my sophomore and junior season, and have achieved Team Captain, Team MVP, 1st Team All County, 1st Team All Division, and led my team in interceptions and solo tackles. This past summer I was invited to FBU Top Gun and received MVP honors and was named the 2nd best corner. I enjoy working with my teammates to better ourselves as a program and achieve team goals. I take pride in my versatility on the field and my ability to excel in the position I am in. I am a diligent worker, who will not stop until i have achieved my goals and have reached my maximum potential. I have a strong passion for the game and have been playing competitively for nine years. I maintain a 3.6 GPA, take only honors, college, and AP courses; and in doing so help others to try to also achieve academic success.I plan on contiuning my football career at the college level and will work hard to accel both in the classroom and on the field wherever i land.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
