Matt Cincotta '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a starting linebacker and long snapper from Charlotte Catholic High School (Div. 3-A) in North Carolina. I have a 3.75 GPA in a challenging college prep school, where I have attained Honor Roll every semester since my freshman year. I consider myself a student of the game and feel confident in my abilities as a student athlete. My versatility as a linebacker and long snapper has tremendous benefits for a defensive coordinator and program searching for an athletically gifted long snapper. I have received Top 12 Honors at the 2011 Chris Rubio National Longsnapping Camp, which has prepared me well for Division 1 Programs. I am currently 6'0", 195 lbs and still growing. Playing rugby, in the off-season, has enabled me to work on my strength, speed and agility, contributing to my success at linebacker this season. I have been fortunate and blessed to perform ministry work for the poor in the southeast US, by repairing and rebuilding their homes. Besides learning skills in the construction trades, I learned a lot about myself and the struggles of less fortunate people. I am interested in attending a college with a strong biology or pre-med program. I prefer to play in  for a Division1A, 1AA or Div 2 school located anywhere throughout the United States. While my goal is to play collegiate football at the highest level possible, I am also focused on receiving an undergraduate degree from an outstanding college or university.
