My greatest strength as a player is my vision of the field. I am a play maker. I know what my teammates can do, I can see the defense and I can anticipate the next move to set up opportunities for my team. My technical ability is strong. I am fast and I am good on the ball. I can anticipate the defenders moves which allows me to move with greater ease to get the ball downfield. On defense, I also anticipate and can intercept or break up a play.
Passion for the game has driven my desire to play in college. Participating in club soccer from a young age has allowed me to play with great coaches that have guided me towards being technically strong and given me a greater understanding of the game. They have instilled in me a strong, technical skill set. This has only enhanced my level of play. While I have played on many top teams throughout the years, I have purposely chosen my personal development of the game versus playing for the "top" or "best" team. I credit my success in the game to not only these coaches but my commitment to working hard and playing even harder.
While I always strive to improve it is not for just me but the team. I am a respected player not only by my coaches but my fellow teammates. Soccer is important to me but attending college and working hard in the classroom is equally important. I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
