2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I absolutely love playing softball! I work on improving my game almost constantly. I am a strong pitcher and hitter and have been told by my coaches that I am a very "smart player". I have had a pitching coach for the past 6 years and professional hitting coach for 5 years. I attend pitching lessons 2-4 times per month and hitting lessons twice a month. It is important to me to strive to be the best player on the field. Pitching is my passion and I also play shortstop and outfield. I work very hard at it all year long. I realize the importance of teamwork. Teams win games, not individual players. Teams win championships when every player on the team realizes the importance of teamwork.
I hope to be able to attend college and earn a degree in Special Education (or a related field) so I can, one day, begin a career in Education. I also dream of Coaching in High School or College. School and grades are important to me and I strive to maintain all A's. I have, for the most part, with just a few B's along the way. I have always had great attendance and done my best to complete all assignments and projects to the very best of my ability.
Hopefully, one day, I will have the opportunity to earn a spot on a college softball team and be able to pursue my dreams!
