I used this quote in a speech after my first year of football way back when I was only eight years old and thought I might die from the rigors of the game. I have lived it ever since! I have had the opportunity to play football for about eight years. I earned a spot on the varsity team as a sophomore. As a South Wake Crusader, I have learned to never give up even in the face of a huge score deficit, I give all I have until that last whistle blows. I take this same attitude with my coaches, trainer, teachers, and of course my parents. I am aggressive but humble, being a team player, teachable, self-motivated, and having the skill and character to be an asset to my team is my strength.
