Personal Statement
My name is Amaya Keys and I am a student athlete interested in the 400m and 800m. I have been running since I was about 11 years old, and ever since, I knew that track would be the right sport for me.
In school, I maintain a high GPA and have a great work ethic. I recognize the importance of getting my education and constantly make sure I am putting in 100%. As an athlete, I value training and growth in all aspects of my craft, as well as team leadership and improvement.
I hope to run at a competitive level collegiately and be the most successful athlete I can be. I am determined to find the college that is the best fit for me, academically and athletically, and will build upon my values and goals.
