I had the privilege of being a part of the Northern Guilford state championship team as a freshman. That experience inspired me to want to play football at the next level. As a sophomore, our team made it to the final four and fell short of a title. The bus ride home from the loss created a lot of reflection on future goals for myself and my team.
As I head into my junior year, the goal of playing football in college is becoming a closer reality. I would like to attend a school that is challenging both academically and athletically. I am very driven to hit the goals I have set for myself, and not reaching my goals has never been an option. I understand my efforts and habits year round will help me accomplish these goals. I'm a hard worker on and off the field and my 3.8 GPA is a testament to my work ethic. When I arrive at my school of choice; I will continue this mentality as it has been my key to success so far. When I see a teammate who is struggling; I try to push them to be better. My experience so far tells me that if the team is successful, we will accomplish great things.
