I am a senior at Northwest Guilford High School, class of 2021. I started swimming when I was three and have been competing since I was 6. I have been swimming at the school for four years now, as I swam on varsity starting my freshman year. This year I was chosen by my team to be senior captain. I am also on an all year round team. Over the past four years, I have truly developed a love for the sport, and continue to work each day to stay in shape and improve my skills to get better.
I aspire to be the best swimmer I can be and to find a coach who will push me and hold the same vision as I do. I am driven to succeeding in swimming as well as my academics and staying close to friends. I love being on a team and bonding. I have the determination to swim and compete with a year round team as well as my high school team while carrying an academic course load of AP and honors courses and having a learning disability.
I have a positive attitude and strive to be my best. I would like to pursue a college that will support my goals academically and athletically.
