Raymell Hester '22 Recruiting Profile

Coaches, 

I'm Raymell Hester,  a student athlete from Bedford Heights, Ohio. I've been playing the game of football (tackle) since the age of 5. With my 2 older brothers playing and my father coaching I guess you can say that it's in my blood.

My plan is to obtain a degree in Culinary Arts / Business with aspirations of becoming  a Master Chef and someday opening my own restaurant. 

During my years of playing the game of football I've tried to take pieces of knowledge from my father, brothers and ALL my coaches to make me a more complete and dominant player. 

Since the age of 5, I always played the positions of running back and linebacker. It wasn't until I got to High School and our quarterback transferred to another school right after two-a-days leaving the position vacant that I told the coach that I would give it a try. The whole summer I was practicing at the defensive back and wide receiver positions. I knew the offense for the receiver position so everything just started to click for me. I'm comfortable playing wherever I'm needed.
