I have always enjoyed athletics and, although I did not start to develop as an athlete until sixth grade, I have played sports my entire life. Both of my parents and most of my relatives played and coached sports. This along with my love for sports started me on my athletic path. I started playing football when I was eight and by sixth grade my dedication to being the best had put me in a position to not only be a good football player, but also a leader on the field. It also helped me to compete at top levels in both wrestling and baseball as well. I have worked hard through my middle school career to increase my ability on both football and baseball fields as well as the wrestling mat.
I envision my high school and college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a physical therapy or business major that will position me to successfully open my own gym after graduation. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. I have a strong motivation to succeed that translates into a top notch work ethic and the ability to motivate others. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my football career, I will strive to be an asset to the football team in any position that I am needed. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
