My name is Joseph Penna and I am a running back for Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. During my Junior season I rushed for 1,747 yards and 17 touchdowns on 208 carries. I was awarded Most Valuable Offensive Player and Most Valuable Player. I was selected 1st team all league, 1st team all region, and honorable mention all state. I was also selected as an Akron Beacon Journal All Star and selected to represent Walsh Jesuit at the Akron Touchdown Club.
My goal is to find a university that has a great reputation with their business school as I plan to major in finance or economics. There is nothing I love more than playing football and it is my dream to have a college career. One of my favorite aspects of football is the camaraderie it builds. I love being a teammate and working hard side by side with athletes who all have the same goal. I put 100% effort into every workout and every drill at every single practice. Therefore, I am looking for a school that sets high standards for their athletes, not only on the field, but also in the classroom. If a school meets these expectations, I am open to any type of school. I feel I can be an asset to a college football team that puts their faith in me.
