The highlight of my high school career was turning the program around from a 3-7 record before my freshman year, to 6-4 my freshman year. I was starting both ways on the team as a freshman, and I feel as if that gave me a huge opportunity to start becoming a leader early on. However, I do feel that I grew most this past winter. I worked very hard in the weight room to find my weak points and make them better to improve my performance on the field. I feel like it made me realize that the work you put in the off season determines how good you will be during the season. Being only a sophomore, I hope to accomplish a conference championship, and a good run in playoffs. My goal is a state championship. I believe having high goals will only lead you to success. Playing football has taught me commitment, teamwork, sacrifice, and leadership. I believe I not only have the talent to play for a college team, but the work-ethic, character, and leadership to make in immediate impact on your program. As a two-sport athlete, and varsity starter in both sports all years, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
