Becoming the starting quarterback for my high school team was the highlight of my freshman season. During the summer workout season before official football even began I believe I had the opportunity to grow and make a bond with my older teammates. I had watched my older brothers play high school football and knew what was required to play varsity football. I had watched them excel and play at the highest level and wanted to follow in their footsteps but pave my own path.
I was fortunate to play with an exceptional group of upper classman that were not only great teammates but became great friends. During the first year I learned the value of hard work, teamwork and commitment. Our team had set a goal in the pre season to make the state playoffs and although we did not win each game we did earn our way into the state playoffs. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I have shown through my freshman season that I have the talent to compete at the college level and would be an asset to a college football program. As a three sport athlete I will continue to work hard and get better each day.
