I am a student-athlete striving to do my best in all aspects of my life. The three adjectives most often used to describe me are "High Character", "Very Coachable", and "Hard Working". High character is shown by my respect for others, especially my coaches and teammates. Coachable describes my ability to learn new techniques that I have learned from various coaches. Hardworking describes my 100% attitude towards everything I do. I am highly motivated to be a great player, student, and teammate and will always work hard to achieve my goals. I would like to play at the highest college division that my ability allows. I feel that my, "First On, Last Off the field" attitude will contribute to the success of your football program.
I was not able to compete my sophomore year because I tore my ACL in August 2014 during a non-contact drill. After rehabbing my knee, my goal was to start varsity my Junior year. It was a tough process to deal with. I learned that tough times come to everybody and am I going to be the person who backs down from this battle or am I going to overcome it and become victorious. In a way, my injury taught me to be humble and patient. It molded me to break out of my comfort shell and fight through a tough time which I never had since the injury. This was a minor setback for me and I became victorious.
